Sunday...Schneider style!

Exhibit A:
The man doing man work. He's exposing the roots with the water and then he takes a chainsaw to them! Yikes!
Exhibit B:
DD1 joyriding in a Barbie jeep with assorted golf clubs, dolls, and running down the occasional dog.

Exhibit C:

DD2 riding the pink pony. Shortly after this picture was taken, she bit DD1 for daring to touch said pony.

Exhibit DD:

This is how I rock Sundays!

2 days and counting

Two days and counting until this!

Yeah.... don't be haters 'cause you're jealous I'm going to see Smithfield the Painting Pig. That's right people...the girls and I actually reserved our spots to catch this pig in action on Thursday at our local library.

Don't hurt yourselves waiting for the reviews.

I'm going to try and get some pictures of Nora petting the pig. Charlotte probably want nothing to do with that pig!

Yikes!

This blog is making me Bold! I put a layout I made of the Pip on a website called

Two peas in a Bucket. If you click on my link, you can see Pip in the member gallery under layouts. I've gotten some very nice comments on it already.

I felt very weird putting this out there because you never know if it's just you who thinks it looks nice and in reality it's terrible! So I am VERY happy to have nice comments because sometimes you see layouts with nobody commenting on them at all. The horror!

I found a new show.

What is up with that show Rob & Big? It is so funny! I was trying to find something to watch last night and I found this show on MTV2. Why do they have Mini Horse and how do I get one?

I'm not sure what season I was watching, but I Loved It!

Last night we went out to our 2nd favorite Mexican joint for dinner and it was pretty bad. They screwed up Craig's order and overcharged us. Then it was off to a Cruise-In or whatever those car shows are called. You know....when they have a bunch of old cars sitting with their hoods open in a parking lot. They're ok, but it's fun to watch Nora and Charlotte spot all the Corvettes first. How do they know that car I wonder?

We were going to stop to get ice cream cones on the way home at DQ, but I made an executive decision to stop at the grocery store to get a carton of ice cream and make cones at home. It's the economy, the price of gas and all ... not that I wanted some extra ice cream on hand or anything!

Happy Father's Day

To get this picture, I threw the kids on Craig's lap after mass on Sunday. Doesn't Craig look tired? Well, to explain why, I've included some pictures of the addition Craig finished in the kitchen this weekend. Our granite was installed on Friday and Craig finished putting the rest together this weekend.
New wall of cabinets along kitchen wall and morning room.
My new bookshelves which I filled with my cookbooks Saturday night. Glass cabinets contain crystal and odd serving dishes.
The sink, wine cooler, and ice machine make a cool bar area. Plus you can see Nora drinking her chocolate moo over the divider in the family room.

Craig and his dog all worn out. Good Job fellows! Have a great day everyone!

Dog Days of Summer

Ok...so it's not technically summer yet, but we did have a temp of 103 degrees yesterday. Today is probably going to be another broiler. Poor Pinky doesn't know what to make of this heat. The girls are cooling off by going to the pool and sometimes we just make due by pulling out Charlotte's new slip & slide. They are too cute on sliding on that thing. I had to "grease" it down with bubble bath so they would get the general idea of sliding. Before I put bath soap on, they looked like spiderman scaling a building! Now we know what we're doing!
Yesterday we escaped the heat by going to see Kung Fu Panda. We all liked it and now the girls want to go see Wall-E. For some reason that movie just doesn't look appealing to me. If a movie ever looked like a rental, that would be it. Robots and space stuff does not interest me. Now fat fighting pandas who like to gorge themselves with food.....now you're talking!

They say it's your birthday

I'm totally exhausted tonight. Just a quick entry to tell you Charlotte's birthday at the Great Wolf Lodge was quite enjoyable. I no longer just think Nora is fearless in the water, I know she is fearless! That little kid was going down all the big slides by herself today. Then she went down a huge tube slide with me. She was diving under the water and begging anyone to watch her "trick" which is diving under water! She couldn't get enough pool, slides, waves, and just water park. Charlotte started off very cool with the water park. Not a big fan in the beginning, actually quite timid. She enjoyed the kiddie pool with the zero entry and the wave pool when her mama held her. We jumped like kangaroos when the waves hit us. We spent some time together today, but a lot of Ann and Craig taking turns playing with Charlotte in the "gentle waters" and taking Nora into the "raging" waters. Also made a quick trip to Newport News to shop at Trader Joe's. I love that store, building one in Richmond this year I think. Can't wait.
Charlotte wanted a Little Mermaid cake for her birthday and her mother tried to accommodate her. I think it came out pretty good. Craig made her eyes. He thought I made them look goofy, so I scraped my eyes off. He outlined the nose, I think that's goofy, but I didn't say anything. Charlotte and Nora loved the cake and that's what matters.
My baby turned three today...where did the time go?

Happy Birthday Charlotte!

Charlotte sitting in the driveway glaring at all the garbage pickers from our garage sale and also eating a Drake cake!
Smile Charlotte!
Yeah she's got a tattoo!
Dirty Candy face playing in the totlot.

Happy 3rd Birthday Sweet Girl! Your Mommy, Daddy, and Sister love you so much!

I'm in love with her and I feel fine.

The title is lyrics to a Beatles song which runs through my head when I look at this picture of the Pip. A bonus, cute Pinkydog in the background.

Runaway Dress Up

Nora mad at me again for some reason. I look for her and can't find her. I ask Craig where she could be.

Craig responds "She's in the garage making a bomb to throw in your face."

umm...thanks Craig.
